Forest Ferns Estate established 1986

We have no working land lines on the Forest Ferns Estate at present, as a large amount of cabling has been stolen in the Tsitsikamma and Storms River area and not yet replaced.

Please contact us by email and we will phone you back on a mobile phone if necessary, or conduct all communications by mail. If you need to contact us more urgently than this, call Heidi on 081 4229617 between 7am and 5pm on week days and she will get a message through to the correct person to call you back.

Unfortunately we have only intermittent cellular reception near The Fernery Reception but there is wifi if you can use whatsapp on the same number out of office hours.

Nestled in the picturesque Garden Route of South Africa, bordering on the rugged coastline of the Tsitsikamma National Park and close to Storms River Village, you will find the luxurious 4-star Fernery Lodge & Chalets. Situated only 160 Km from both George and Port Elizabeth airports, this piece of paradise awaits your discovery.

The Fernery Lodge is situated above a 30 meter waterfall, overlooking the Indian Ocean. It offers guests breathtaking views, beautifully appointed living areas, six superbly furnished suites, pool, jacuzzi and sauna, and fine cuisine. Each spacious Fernery Chalet has a private deck and cosy fireplace, and is beautifully decorated and equipped for a luxurious B&B stay.

The Fernery Nursery specialises in the growing of indigenous ferns and restionacae, but also produces other sun and shade loving plants that are considered to be good companions to the above. It is possible to purchase these plants at The Fernery which is itself a beautiful and unique tourist attraction featuring a magnificent display of running water and shade loving ferns.

Deliveries of seedling trays and plants of all sizes are made to both retail and wholesale nurseries, and to landscapers between Port Elizabeth and George.

Forest Ferns Exports is a wholesale foliage exporter situated in the Tsitsikamma on the Garden Route of South Africa. Forest Ferns markets over 30 varieties of ferns, restios, grasses and fynbos products to the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and France.
